Detroit—Crain Communications Inc. announced Tuesday at its annual executive meeting that it will launch a corporate branding campaign this fall with the tagline, "Hard news for hard choices." The corporate campaign is the company's first in a number of years, said Rance Crain, president of Crain Communications, which publishes BtoB and Media Business. He said the campaign would communicate the media company's diverse activities, both in print and online. "We certainly want to encourage the use of corporate advertising also," Crain said. The campaign, developed in-house, will begin with print advertisements in the company’s 30 magazines.
