Published on .

Mexico City—Crain Communications Inc. is suspending operations of two if its regional titles, Crain’s Mexico (21,000 circ.) and Crain’s Monterrey (16,000 circ.), while it evaluates options for their possible sale. Originally published as El Asesor de Mexico and El Asesor de Monterrey, the magazines were purchased by Crain in 2001. The biweekly newspapers, published in Spanish, cover local business in Mexico City and Monterrey, Mexico, respectively. “We have been very proud of these two publications and the people who run them,” said Crain Communications President Rance Crain, in a news release. “But, at this time, our business strategy lies elsewhere.” Crain Communications publishes BtoB.
