Austin--Liaison Technology Monday announced new software that automatically extracts, aggregates and rationalizes data for use in b-to-b marketplaces. Liason hopes its new Content Exchange platform will distinguish it in the increasingly crowded catalog market by automatically extracting data from Web pages and other sources, including branded information such as photographs, product descriptions and specifications. It also offers the ability for suppliers to create multiple catalogs personalized for different marketplaces and buyers.
