Company: Schneider Electric, Paris Agency: In-house Market: CEOs, plant managers Quick chase: Schneider Electric quantifies the promise of a reward with the figure 30%. That's the percentage that operators of industrial plants can expect to save by using Schneider's EcoStruxture energy management architecture But the promise doesn't stop there. The copy states that the architecture allows customers to extend the same percentage across the enterprise—to data centers and buildings. Schneider elaborates on the reward by smartly offering a free downloadable white paper. The image of the industrial plant with the 30% figure overprinted will select an audience with responsibilities for those kinds of facilities. Clue: The series of thumbnail images and captions on the right side is a distraction. The images are too small to discern, and the tiny text blocks look dense. Schneider is attempting to provide some additional detail, but isn't that the purpose of the white paper?
