CXO Media hires Mattoon to lead business development efforts

Framingham, Mass.—International Data Group’s CXO Media, publisher of CIO, announced the appointment of Christopher Mattoon to director of business development-executive programs. Mattoon will focus on developing and managing key sponsor relationships for the company’s conference division. Most recently, Mattoon served as sales manager for The Boston Globe’s BostonWorks division, where he managed sales and marketing for print and online products as well as sponsorships and special events. Previously, he was conference sponsorship sales director at Key 3 Media.
