Cygnus Business Media readies restructuring to help leverage brands

Fort Atkinson, Wis.—Cygnus Business Media Tuesday announced the appointment of five brand directors in a restructuring designed to better leverage the company’s brands. The newly appointed brand directors are: Patrick Bernardo, group publisher, Law Enforcement Group; Gloria Cosby, publisher, AMTonline.com, Automatic Merchandiser and VendingMarketWatch.com; Shari Dodgen, publisher, The CPA Technology Advisor, CPATechAdvisor.com; Kris Flitcroft, group publisher, Construction Group; Patty Maroder, publisher, Firehouse Magazine. Each of these individuals will soon be assigned branding responsibilities. As part of the reorganization, Paul Bowers, group VP-publishing, and Bob Stange, senior VP-custom marketing, will be leaving the company. Cygnus Business Media has more than 175 media products that are marketed through four separate divisions: Cygnus Custom Marketing, Cygnus Expositions, Cygnus Interactive and Cygnus Publishing.
