Fort Atkinson, Wis.—Cygnus Business Media announced plans to launch Collision Repair Product News. The magazine will debut in February, with a circulation of 60,000 body shop owners, technicians, and paint, body and equipment distributors. Cygnus said it will model the magazine after Professional Tool & Equipment News, which focuses on the automotive aftermarket. Tom Lynch will be the publisher of the new magazine, retaining his title as publisher of Professional Tool & Equipment News and Professional Distributor. Cygnus also announced it has signed a licensing agreement to provide b-to-b content to EBSCO Publishing, which provides information through online subscription access to about 150 databases. EBSCO has specialized products and services for academic, medical, government, public and school libraries, as well as for corporations and other organizations.
