Short Hills, N.J.—Data giant D&B has acquired Purisma, a commercial data integration software company, for $48 million. The deal was closed in late October and announced in D&B’s earnings report on Monday. D&B said the deal enables it to penetrate the growing commercial data integration marketplace and makes it simpler to integrate D&B data with its customers’ internal data systems.
