Dell selects Ammirati Puris Lintas

Published on .

Round Rock, Texas--Dell Computer Corp. announced Friday that it had selected Ammirati Puris Lintas, New York, to handle its U.S. home and small business group, worth about $70 million in billings. Goldberg Moser O'Neill, San Francisco, resigned the Dell account last month after the PC manufacturer announced the account was under review. Goldberg Moser last week captured the Micron Electronics account, estimated at $50 million. The Dell victory is a return to the PC market for Ammirati Puris, which lost the Compaq Computer Corp. business last year to DDB Worldwide Communications Group, New York.
