Dell shop Enfatico rolled into Y&R Brands

New York—Enfatico, the standalone WPP agency that was created last year to serve client Dell, has been folded into the agency holding company’s Y&R Brands division, according to a report in Advertising Age, a BtoB sibling publication.

According to a statement from Enfatico, the move was a "strategic decision" that "responds to the current economic environment by allowing Enfatico to tap Y&R's available resources for Dell and other clients."

Enfatico was created last year with the intention of building a 1,000-person marketing agency to service the Dell account. However, due to economic pressures, Enfatico in February laid off 8% of its global staff.

Y&R Brands includes Y&R Advertising, Wunderman, Burson-Marsteller and Landor.
