Deloitte Consulting, Ariba sign b-to-b e-commerce marketing deal

New York--Deloitte Consulting and Ariba, a Sunnyvale, Calif. technology vendor, have signed a deal to jointly market Ariba's business-to-business electronic-commerce software. Deloitte and Ariba will market the software, which is largely geared toward procurement services, to joint clients. The deal comes as other consulting firms, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, New York, and A.T. Kearney, Chicago, are making plans to offer e-commerce platforms to customers.
