Deluxe agrees to buy New England Business Service

Shoreview, Minn.--Deluxe Corp. Monday announced it has agreed to acquire New England Business Service for about $800 million.

Groton, Mass.-based NEBS is a b-to-b catalog company that sells business products and services to 3.1 million small-business customers.

"The acquisition of NEBS creates a tremendous opportunity to better serve the small-business segment," said Lawrence J. Mosner, chairman-CEO of Deluxe, in a statement.

The deal is expected to close within 60 days.
