Deutsche Bank buys consulting firm

Frankfurt--In an unusual move for a bank, Deutsche Bank AG has bought InterSec Research Corp., a Stamford, Conn.-based consulting firm. InterSec Research, which was privately held, advises investment companies and pension funds. Deutsche Bank is one of the world's biggest financial companies, with $882 billion in assets under management. Financial terms were not disclosed.
