Deutsche Post's U.S. subsidiary, Global Mail Ltd., has bought the international mail division of Skymail International. The acquisition will help Sterling, Va.-based Global Mail, which helps companies develop b-to-b direct mail campaigns, expand its presence in the western U.S., said Harry Geller, Global Mail's CEO. Salt Lake City-based Skymail's international division will especially help Global Mail expand its reach into Nevada's booming gaming sector, Geller said. The acquisition's financial terms were not disclosed. Deutsche Post, Bonn, Germany, is the second-largest global postal service, after the U.S. Postal Service.
