Digitas, Crispin Porter and American Express win Grand Clio Award

New York—Digitas New York and Crispin Porter+Bogusky, Boulder, Colo., won a Grand Clio award for a campaign they created for American Express OPEN called “Small Business Saturday” at the 52nd annual Clio Awards in New York May 19. The awards recognize excellence in advertising, design and communications for b-to-b and b-to-c advertisers. The “Small Business Saturday” campaign also won a Gold Clio in the social media category, and a Clio Special Award (a new award) in the category of Facebook integrated media. Droga5, New York, won a Gold Clio for an integrated campaign it created for Microsoft Bing called “Decode Jay-Z with Bing.” AlmapBBDO, Brazil, was named Agency of the Year for the second year in a row.
