Direct marketing group names Barker-Evans Woman of the Year

Chicago—Janet Barker-Evans, senior VP-group creative director for Draft Chicago, has been named Direct Marketing Woman of the Year by the Chicago Chapter of Women in Direct Marketing International. Barker-Evans, who joined Draft in 1994, was recognized as being among the first in the industry to take advantage of the convergence of direct marketing and promotion marketing with online marketing. Her clients include ConAgra Foods, Masterfoods USA, the U.S. Postal Service, Kaiser Permanente and the Milk Processor Education Program.
