Direct marketing vets form new marketing services holding company

Published on .

Chicago—Grey Direct founder George Wiedemann and Kenneth Lomasney, founder of Market Knowledge, announced Tuesday they have formed Wiedemann & Lomasney, a new marketing services holding company.

Wiedemann is chairman-CEO of the new company, and Lomasney is president. Wiedemann said the company’s approach to marketing communications will be organized around a focus on customers and prospects and how they want to interact with brands rather than an outbound approach to promote a product.

The executives plan to announce their first acquisition before the end of the month.
