Direct Media Millard launches BI consultancy

Greenwich, Conn.—List management company Direct Media Millard has created a new business intelligence consultancy focused on research and analytics.

The company said it will offer customers market research garnered through usability labs, phone interviews, focus groups and online surveys; competitive intelligence for online, catalog and publishing companies; and data mining.

The new unit also will offer scoring models on customers’ in-house files, as well as demographic criteria based on prior prospect behavior.

Bill LaPierre, Direct Media Millard senior VP, is overseeing the new service.

Parent company infoGroup created the company last July by combining Direct Media and Millard, both of which infoGroup had acquired earlier.
