Published on .

Portland, Maine—The Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM), a business unit within b-to-b media and event company Diversified Communications, announced that it has acquired both The Accounts Payable Network (TAPN) and The Accounts Receivable Network (TARN) from Financial Operations Networks. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. TAPN and TARN are membership organizations for finance professionals, while IOFM produces events, peer networks, training, certification, information tools and resources for financial-operations professionals. IOFM also hosts a peer-based network called the Senior Accounts Payable Leadership Network. The expanded organization will produce five events in 2014 to facilitate education and networking in financial operations, according to a statement.
