Champions Gate, Fla.—The Direct Marketing Association’s Business-to-Business Council on Friday honored Jerry Reisberg, managing director of Leaps&Bounds, with the 2006 B-to-B Marketer of the Year Award. The award was presented at the keynote luncheon at DMA's Direct Marketing to Business Conference.

Reisberg received the award for leading Dun & Bradstreet ‘s (D&B)entry into b-to-b list marketing by encouraging the company to use its business database of site names and demographics to serve mailers and direct marketers.

In his 40-year tenure at D&B, he introduced many new innovations, such as expanding the standard U.S. Government four-digit SIC to a more refined eight-digit coding system, according to the DMA. Reisberg retired from his VP post at D&B at the end of February to launch Leaps & Bounds, a b-to-b consultancy.
