New York—The Direct Marketing Association honored multiple companies Tuesday at its annual All for One conference and expo here as Early Stage Innovators for their unique approaches to digital and direct marketing. Top honors went to media planning and buying company ConvergeDirect.
All for One attendees voted during the show for their favorite Early Stage Innovators via their mobile devices. DMA said it received more than 1,000 mobile ballots.
Voters recognized ConvergeDirect for its Convergetrack platform, which pulls vendor data from more than 70 print publishers and combines it with conversion data from client call centers into a daily reports and optimized media plans.
“The offline media-buying side is very labor- and people-intensive, often taking weeks to make decisions on the next media buy,” said Steve Jacoby, ConvergeDirect managing director-search and marketing strategies. “To me, the philosophies between online and offline are very similar, but the buying strategies are markedly different. This helps bring them into alignment.”
Also named a finalist along with ConvergeDirect were social software publisher Compendium for its blogging management solution, and mobile advertising company edo Interactive for its mobile offers solution that pushes deals to users based on their shopping habits.
In addition to the three finalists, companies named by DMA as contestants in its Early Stage Innovators competition included: Connection Engine, Lumi Mobile, Marketfish Inc., Optify Real Time Marketing Software, Pyco Inc. and SocialTwist.
