DMA council names Marsh US Consumer's Baldus Direct Marketer of the Year

New York—The Direct Marketing Association's Insurance and Financial Services Council has named Tony Baldus, senior VP-marketing and analytics for insurance broker-administrator Marsh US Consumer, as its Direct Marketer of the Year. In addition, Marsh US Consumer was named Company of the Year.

It is the first time both a company and one of its marketers have won the awards in the same year, according to DMA.

Baldus and his company were recognized for their targeted contact strategies, direct response marketing for direct mail promotions, billing activities, profitability analysis and renewal modeling. Baldus and Marsh US Consumer will receive their awards next month during DMA's annual conference and exposition in San Diego.
