DMA creates Social Media Council

By Published on .

New York—The Direct Marketing Association has created a new Social Media Council, whose aim is to uncover new opportunities in digital marketing.

The new group, joining a lineup of 20 other special interest councils maintained by DMA, is designed to be an idea-sharing and best-practices resource on using social media to establish and promote brands.

The founding members of the Social Media Council are Robin Bordoli, founder and CEO, HeadMix; Sevren Maynard, founder, Co-Operative Labs; and Peter Daboll, CEO, Bunchball. They will work with the DMA in creating events, programming and education on social and digital marketing, the association said.
