DMA: Direct marketing staffing seen holding steady through Q1

Published on .

New York—Direct marketing staffing will remain steady through the first quarter, according to a new report released by the Direct Marketing Association.

”The Direct Marketing Employment Overview Report,” compiled with the assistance of direct marketing employment agency Bernhart Associates Executive Search, said that 48.5% of 264 companies surveyed by e-mail in January expect to make no changes in their hiring in the first quarter.

The survey found 20.8% expect to add staff in the current quarter, and 43.6% of those companies reported that these jobs will be new positions.
