DMA executive Ratan to leave association

New York—Ramesh Ratan, exec VP-COO of the Direct Marketing Association, will leave the organization, effective Sept. 18, to take a new position with an undisclosed company within the direct marketing industry.

An internal memo distributed Wednesday by DMA President-CEO John Greco announced Ratan's upcoming departure after four years with the trade group.

Of his new company, Ratan said, “They have asked me to hold [it] confidential till a public announcement.”
