DMA forms search committee for new president-CEO

By Published on .

New York—The Direct Marketing Association has formed an executive search committee to find a new top executive, following the resignation of President-CEO John Greco.

Heading the search committee is Kelly B. Browning, exec VP-COO of the American Institute for Cancer Research and 2009 DMA board chairman. Also on the committee are board members Eugene R. Raitt, senior VP-accident & health and CMO-Asia, with Allied World Assurance Co. and current DMA chairman; David S. Williams, chairman-CEO, Merkle Inc.; Brian Wolfe, exec VP-consumer marketing and sales, Time Inc.; Steven Dapper, chairman, Hawkeye; Don McKenzie, president-CEO, Direct Group; Matt Blumberg, chairman-CEO, Return Path; and Sue R.E. Geramian, DMA's senior VP-chief communications officer.

Greco resigned following months of membership unrest over the association's focus and management processes. DMA is expected to announce an interim president-CEO this week, to serve until a new top executive is hired.
