DMA, FTC partner on identity theft campaign

New York—The Direct Marketing Association announced Wednesday that it will partner with the Federal Trade Commission on an “AvoID Theft” campaign. The DMA is developing a series of template materials that will be available later this summer to its member companies. The materials will include tips on how to guard against identity theft and how to take action if someone becomes a victim. A related Web site will be launched in the fall.
