DMA introduces iDirect Leadership Committee

New York—The Direct Marketing Association introduced its new iDirect Leadership Committee during the opening session of the association’s annual DM Days New York conference.

DMA’s iDirect Leadership Committee, a think tank focusing on new opportunities in customer-oriented direct marketing actions, will be co-chaired by Stan Rapp, chairman of marketing solutions agency Engauge, and Tim Suther, senior VP-global multichannel marketing services at marketing services company Acxiom.

The DMA said the committee’s mission will be “to usher in the next era for marketing” based on customer-focused actions and processes powered by advanced data systems. The committee will create educational programs and conduct and publish research.

Joining Rapp and Suther are 21 other committee members comprising marketers and operations executives.
