DMA launches Echo campaign

Published on .

New York--The Direct Marketing Association announced Thursday it will launch an ad campaign to publicize its call for nominations for the annual International Echo Awards. The pro bono campaign, which uses artistic masterpieces like DaVinci's "Mona Lisa" and Michelangelo's "David" to ask potential entrants whether they think their latest marketing campaign is a masterpiece, was created by Foote, Cone & Belding Worldwide. Print ads will run in advertising, marketing and business publications, and direct mail and HTML e-mail will be sent to 35,000 corporate and agency marketing executives.
