New York—The Direct Marketing Association has named Rance Crain, president of Crain Communications Inc., and Howard Draft, chairman of direct agency Draftfcb, to the organization’s hall of fame.

In addition to his corporate title, Crain is editor in chief of Advertising Age, Crain’s Chicago Business and Crain’s New York Business, all sibling publications of Media Business.

Draft has led Draftfcb, formed through the merger of agencies Draft and FCB, since 2006. He previously was chairman-CEO of Draft.

Crain and Draft will be inducted officially into DMA’s hall of fame during its annual conference and expo, set for Oct. 9–14 in San Francisco.
