DMA president-CEO stresses commitment to b-to-b

Scottsdale, Ariz.—Direct Marketing Association President-CEO John A. Greco Jr. told attendees at the DMA’s B-to-B Marketing Conference on Thursday that he will focus on b-to-b as part of his overall objectives as the newly installed head of the trade group.

The DMA held a meeting Thursday morning for attendees, which was closed to the press, to discuss issues affecting b-to-b marketers. Among the key topics addressed, according to several attendees, was the DMA’s need as a marketing organization to do a better job marketing itself and improving its reputation.

Greco reiterated that point in a luncheon speech, saying, "We have our own branding challenges." He added that he wants to make sure "we’re practicing what we preach."
