DMA president reverses position, backs presidential commission

New York--In the wake of Congress' rejection of postal reform legislation on June 19, Direct Marketing Association President-CEO H. Robert Wientzen said he is now urging legislators and the White House to create a presidential commission to study postal reform. Prior to the bill's failure, Wientzen publicly opposed the idea of a presidential commission, saying it would slow down the process of reform.
