New York—The Direct Marketing Association has promoted Alan P. Kuritsky to senior VP-sales and marketing. Kuritsky had been VP-marketing and CMO since June 2005. He will lead the creation of a new department to advance the DMA’s internal sales and marketing efforts. Separately, the DMA appointed Edward T. Manzitti as VP-research and Peter A. Johnson as VP-research strategy and platforms. Manzitti was previously director of primary research at NPD Group; Johnson was previously VP-senior economist for research and market intelligence.
