DMA to support development of pan-Arab direct marketing industry

New York—The Direct Marketing Association has formed a partnership with a Saudi Arabian group to develop the direct mail industry within the pan-Arab community and to create a similar direct marketing organization in the area.

The DMA is partnering with Direct Marketing Services YMH to support direct marketing companies in the region with best practices, research and self-regulation tools. The new association that will be formed will be called the Arab Direct Marketing Association.

According to DMA Exec VP Ramesh Ratan, the partnership will help open up new business and consumer markets for U.S. marketers.
