DMA taps government relations VP

Published on .

New York--The Direct Marketing Association has hired James Conway, a Fortune 500 corporate lobbying vet, as its VP-government relations. Conway will report to Senior VP-Government Affairs Jerry Cerasale, and will be responsible for DMA activities with Congress and federal regulatory agencies. Prior to joining the DMA, Conway was manager-congressional relations at Siemens Corp., the U.S. arm of Munich-based Siemens AG. Before that he was a labor relations attorney with Houston-based Gulf Oil L.P.
