DMA taps Hudson as new government affairs director

New York—The Direct Marketing Association has named Peggy Renken Hudson as senior VP-government affairs. She will succeed DMA's longtime government lobbyist Jerry Cerasale, who is retiring at the end of the year. Most recently Hudson was CEO of consultancy Hudson Global Strategies. Prior to that she was VP-federal and international affairs at BP America, lobbying on energy bills, DMA said in a statement. Cerasale will work with Hudson through the end of the year.
