DMG World Media acquires Ad:Tech

San Francisco—DMG World Media has acquired the interactive marketing trade show Ad:Tech from JD Events for an undisclosed price. DMG is forming a new unit, Ad:Tech Expositions, to oversee the events.

Ad:Tech shows will continue to be held in San Francisco, Chicago and New York, with new shows planned this year for London and Shanghai.

JD Events will continue managing the exhibition while DMG World Media recruits a new sales and management team.

DMG produces more than 300 trade exhibitions, consumer shows and fairs annually and publishes 45 related magazines, newspapers, directories and market reports.
