New York—Advertising Age on Monday announced two key promotions. Scott Donaton, who has been editor since 1998, was promoted to associate publisher of the Ad Age Group, and Executive Editor Jonah Bloom was named editor.
Donaton will now oversee areas such as new-product development, online extensions, conferences and events, and global licensing. He was recently awarded the Jesse H. Neal McAllister Editorial Fellowship and was earlier inducted into the American Advertising Federation Hall of Fame.
Bloom, who joined Advertising Age in July 2002, will oversee the editorial operations of the weekly publication and its companion Web site. Advertising Age, like BtoB, is published by Crain Communications Inc.
