Doremus study finds 60% of companies will increase IT spending

New York—Sixty percent of global business leaders said they plan to increase IT spending this year over last year, according to a survey released by Doremus and the Financial Times.

The survey was based on interviews with more than 500 senior executives at global companies

Also according to the survey, 40% of executives said they plan to increase their investment in buildings and facilities this year over last.

The survey also found that 60% of senior executives said they are optimistic about prospects for their companies over the next six months.
