New York—DoubleClick announced it has placed its Ensemble campaign management software and SmartPath marketing resource management software under an umbrella group called Enterprise Marketing Solutions.
The products are being integrated so that customers have a single platform to manage their marketing activity. Upgrades to the products include advanced segmentation and campaign execution functionality across media channels.
"It made sense to bring the two of them together because they are both targeted at the senior level and both targeted to enterprises," said Dave Frankland, a spokesman.
Michael Doernberg, who was CEO of SmartPath when DoubleClick acquired it, will lead the group as VP-general manager.
