New York--Barry Salzman, DoubleClick Inc.'s high-profile president of global media, has resigned. Salzman headed up the company's audience network business, international network and e-mail list services businesses. DoubleClick's media business has been a financial drag on the company, which is making an aggressive--and risky--diversification into e-mail marketing software.
