Published on .

New York--DoubleClick Thursday reported first-quarter net income of $7.7 million, up from $900,000 a year earlier. Revenue totaled $68.0 million, compared with $60.1 million in last year's first quarter.

Data revenue was $22.8 million in the first quarter, a 23.2% increase over 2003, while Abacus revenue was up 9.9% to $20.4 million.

DoubleClick's integrated marketing platform continues to resonate with existing and potential customers," DoubleClick President David Rosenblatt said in a statement.

DoubleClick, which last month acquired SmartPath, expects to add about $4 million in revenue this year as a result of that deal.
