DoubleClick reports lower e-mail bounce rate

New York--In a sign that all news is not bad news in the e-mail marketing industry, DoubleClick Inc. Tuesday said bounce rates among its client base improved slightly in the second quarter compared with the same period last year. Bounce rates were 11.5% in this year's second quarter, down from 13.6% a year earlier. Open rates increased to 38.8%, up from 37.6% in last year's second quarter.
