New York—DoubleClick reported $83.5 million in fourth-quarter revenue, a 15% increase from a year earlier. Net income totaled $10.6 million, up from $3.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2003.
For the full year, DoubleClick logged revenue of $301.6 million, compared with $271.3 million in 2003. Net income for 2004 was $37.5 million, up from $16.9 million in 2003.
DoubleClick attributed the gains to margin improvements and stronger-than-expected results in certain businesses. "We had some real bright spots, and Performics and data management in particular," DoubleClick CFO Bruce Dalziel said during the company’s earnings call Thursday evening. Performics is the company’s search division.
