DoubleClick's losses widen

New York--DoubleClick Inc. said it lost $37.9 million in the second quarter, compared with a loss of $22.1 million in the same quarter a year earlier. Revenues totaled $101.9 million, down from $128.1 million in last year's second quarter. DoubleClick, like its competitors, is ailing from a fallout among dot-com clients that used its ad-serving technologies. DoubleClick's stock shares are trading in the $11 to $12 range, down from a 52-week high of $45.51.
