Dow Jones appoints GMs for Barron’s Online, MarketWatch.com, WSJ.com

New York—Dow Jones & Co. last week named general managers for Barron’s Online, MarketWatch.com and WSJ.com, and announced key appointments in marketing and advertising operations for the Wall Street Journal Digital Network (formerly Dow Jones Online). Daniel Bernard, VP-marketing for the Wall Street Journal Digital Network, was named general manager of WSJ.com; Gail Griffin, general manager of WSJ.com, was named general manager of Barron’s Online; Jim Bernard, VP-strategy and marketing intelligence in Dow Jones’ Enterprise Media Group, was named general manager of MarketWatch.com; Matt Ellsworth, ad solutions manager for Yahoo Finance, was named VP-marketing of the Wall Street Journal Digital Network; Sandra Baez, director of advertising operations at MarketWatch.com., was named VP-advertising operations at the Wall Street Digital Network.
