Dow Jones, IAC join forces to build personal finance brand

New York—Dow Jones & Co. and interactive conglomerate IAC announced they have formed a joint venture to create a personal finance Internet business. The partnership will create a community-driven Web site using content from The Wall Street Journal, MarketWatch and other Dow Jones, products as well as marketing and technology from IAC’s businesses, which include Ask.com and LendingTree. Dave Kansas, the editor of the Journal’s “Money & Investing” section, will serve as president of the new venture.
