New York--Dow Jones & Co. said Monday that it will begin reporting The Wall Street Journal’s print and “applicable online subscribers” to the Online Journal together in its Audit Bureau of Circulations statement. On its current ABC statement, The Wall Street Journal’s circulation totals 2,091,062. Of the 686,000 subscribers to the Online Journal, 290,412 meet the criteria for being included in the ABC statement. “We believe this reporting of our circulation to ABC more accurately reflects the total paid circulation of the U.S. Journal franchise and will be more useful to our advertisers,” Karen Elliott House, publisher of The Wall Street Journal, said in a statement.
