New York—Expanding its work-flow products for professionals, Dow Jones & Co. has released Dow Jones Media Relations Manager, a new media database and contact management tool aimed at public relations professionals.

The tool is designed to help communications professionals target journalists and bloggers potentially interested in the story they are pitching. The tool is intended to allow PR pros to locate journalists not only by their beat topics but also by actual words and topics they are currently writing about in stories.
