Dow Jones to launch ‘Wall Street Journal’ site in Japanese

Tokyo—News Corp.’s Dow Jones & Co. and SBI Holdings, a Japanese company that provides online financial services, announced Thursday that they will form a joint venture, Wall Street Journal Japan K.K.

The joint venture plans to operate a Japanese-language Web site, slated to debut later this year. The new site, which will carry the Journal brand, will feature Japanese translations of content, including video and other multimedia, from print and online editions of the Journal and other Dow Jones publications.
